-
- First Released 24 April 1992
- Rerelease 9 April 1995
-
- Disclaimer
- ----------
- OpenClip and SaveClip are distributed "as is". That means that the author
- has NO responsiblities for whatever damage the programs may cause.
-
- The programs are in the Public Domain. You may spread them freely,
- modify them, sell them, anything. Feel free to use the code in your own
- programs.
-
-
-
- What do they do?
- ----------------
- Do you often use a program lika Snap? (Or OSnap or PowerSnap or..) Then you
- have probably sometimes wished that there was an easy way to save
- something you just snapped out to a file. That is exactly what SaveClip
- does. It reads from the clipboard and saves the data to a file if it is
- IFF-FTXT.
- OpenClip does the reverse: It opens a textfile and puts it onto the
- clipboard.
-
-
- Syntax
- ------
- SaveClip <file>
- OpenClip <file>
- where <file> is a legal AmigaDOS filename.
-
- There is no limit of how big files OpenClip will read and I haven't tried
- to put very big files on the clipboard. As long as there is enough memory
- it should work ok however.
-
-
- Why rerelease the exact same program after 3 years? :-)
- -------------------------------------------------------
- Well, before uploading it to AmiNet I thought it would be a good idea to
- recompile it with SAS/C 6.55, change addresses in the doc etc.
